Administrative Assistant
Job Description:
Coordinates administrative office services such as coordinating general business activities for themselves and others, answering phones, appointment-setting, records control, and other administrative activities for Marc Michaud & Associates. Interprets operating policies. Exercises independent judgment in the resolution of administrative problems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Coordinates and implements general office services such as appointment-setting, records control, and other administrative activities.
- Scanning information and saving it to the appropriate file.
- Interprets and communicates operating policies
- Assemble Tax Return packets.
- Operates personal computer to access e-mail, electronic calendars, and other basic office support software
- Uses various software applications such Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with QuickBooks, a plus, but not needed.
- Exercises administrative judgment and assumes responsibility for decisions, consequences, and results impacting staff, costs, and/or quality of service within the functional area
- Ability to multitask, problem solve and display confidence
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- High School Diploma or GED (Two years college or equivalent work experience preferred)
- Three years of related experience or relevant coursework
- Able to exchange non-routine information using tact and persuasion as appropriate
- Good oral and written communication skills

Salary - $20-22 per hour
